Edible oils

Shiv Classic

Shiv Classic is a Data Group multi source and rice bran oil, made by Babulal Edible Oils Pvt. Ltd. at Alwar and the Group’s leading brand in North East India.

Shiv Classic covers two categories. Multi source edible vegetable oil is a blend of two or more oils to a ratio declared on the label. Rice bran oil is refined from the bran left when rice is milled — light, neutral and high-smoke-point, which is why it suits the frying and everyday cooking most Indian kitchens do.

It is the Group’s strongest brand in North East India, a market a long way from the mustard belt the Group grew out of and one it reached on the strength of the brand rather than proximity.
